COOK! Culinary Programs
In it’s fourth year of operation, COOK! provides wholesome, informative and challenging culinary experiences for teens and pre-teens in a dynamic commercial teaching kitchen. While learning foundation culinary skills that will last a lifetime, participants will also embark on exciting adventures, which will challenge them creatively, both individually and cooperatively. COOK! is a Paulding & Company Program.
Paulding & Company
The Paulding & Company Kitchen is a place where people come to cultivate their love for cooking, eating, feeding people and being fed. We specialize in group cooking events, classes and catering, all based out of our 2400 square foot, state-of-the-art facility. The kitchen was built in 2003 by Terry Paulding, a graduate of CCA and long-time professional chef, teacher and foodie. We have hosted such notables as Top Chef (season one’s home-kitchen), Pixar (where the animators for Ratatouille took cooking classes) and many other business and celebratory events. Paulding & Company is a Green Business, supporting local farmers and businesses whenever possible.
The Kitchen
Built in 2003-04, the Paulding & Company Kitchen is unique. It is spacious, light and well equipped, set up for both our professional catering and for hands-on cooking events and classes. Amenities include a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, a 12-burner commercial stove, 90,000 BTU stockpot stove, 4 full-size commercial convection ovens, 90-second low-temperature commercial dishwasher, full-size 3-compartment sink, prep sink, roomy work table space for our guests to prep and cook together, and a seating area where large and small groups can enjoy the wonderful foods they prepare.
