Get your kids involved in cleaning by assigning them a task and teaching them how to do it…

• Master of Leftovers puts away leftovers, clears the counters, throws away the garbage, and stacks dishes to be washed by the sink.

• Keeper of Suds washes the dishes and/or prepares them for the dishwasher.

• Water Demon rinses all the dishes washed by the Keeper and stacks them to dry and/or in the dishwasher. 

Depending upon the size of your household, you may need to combine jobs, or add more. Keep it light, work it into your schedule for the week, let your kids know how valued they are by giving them a job.
